Shoreham Skatepark

As a result of a significant number of anti-social behaviour incidents in Shoreham this evening, a section 34 dispersal order is now in place from today ( Thursday 11th April) until 9.30pm on Saturday 13th April. This power allows us to order people to leave a designated area for a set period of time due to their behaviour. Officers have been in the area in the last hour and dispersed a group of youths, we will continue to have a visible presence in the town.

The dispersal order applies to the area outlined in the image below.

The Skatepark User group has been working with Adur & Worthing Council's Safer Communities team to improve the Ham Rec. By opening up the Eastern end fence we have eliminated the dead-end and allows easy access straight into the green space. You no longer have to walk alongside the busy road traffic.

Thanks to the Safer Communities team for funding this work for us all. 👍

We are looking to find a sponsor to help us build a timber planter here with a new sign for the rec and skatepark.

Wohoo. What a cracking day we all had yesterday. It was great to see the skatepark and the Greenspace all come alive for the event.
So many people were paying our team compliments on bringing it together.
