DOCTORS STITCHED ME UP ❣

This time, doctors stitched me up for the sustainable health purposes!

The younger sista is telling the story:

I flied to Istanbul in the first week of January for my dental procedures only but the universe had different plans for me. To shorten a long story: I had an unexpected pancreatitis attack and two operations back to back, first an ERCP in the pancreas and then the gall bladder removal surgery.

As if it wasn't enough, after I was discharged from the hospital, finally my dental procedure has started and I had another operation in my mouth, ended with ten stitches.

Luckily I was with my older sista all the way in my journey back to health and I cherished her companionship and help. Against all odds, sometimes we laughed so hard that I was about to be unstitched 🤣

Oh, I was even able to put some new Sista & Sista Made goodies into my luggage before my flight back to the UK. They are sustainable eco-printed textile items and will be listed soon in our online shop. Link in the bio.

SCRUNCHTASTIC ME-MADE SCRUNCHIES ❤

Pheww...it was a busy week. The first sewing session of .ClothesLab , Scrunchie Making was on last Sunday. The participant was keen on earthy colours and chose her scraps from the piles of . The class last almost two and a half hours, in the end, she had 3 me-made scrunchies using different technics and enthusiasm about developing more sewing skills. Such a nice new year's resolution. Horray!

The Clothes Lab, Gill, Linda and Ebru (AKA the younger sista) run sewing, mending, and refashioning classes under the shed of The Circular Space in Shoreham-by-sea.

The next session is Sewing Machine Basics this Sunday. Booking is still on.

Classes will be active in 2023 as well.
