Thinking about joining a choir? Come along to our New Members’ Open Evening and meet The Fifty! 💚💙

You’ll get to meet our friendly choir, have a sing with us and find out what we’re all about. No need to be nervous - we know walking through the door for the first time can feel daunting, but you’ll be made very welcome! 🥰

Thinking about joining The Fifty? Wondering what your first rehearsal will actually be like?

We totally get it.

You see something you’d love to do. You get in touch. You’re excited about the prospect of joining… and then the evening comes around and you think, “Actually, I’ll just stay at home and watch TV.”

Walking through the door when you don’t know anyone can be really nerve-racking, and we genuinely appreciate how hard that first step can feel.

But honestly, it’s the worst bit.

Because once you’ve walked through that door, everyone is friendly. You’ll be welcomed, you’ll have people to talk to and before long you’ll be wondering why you were so nervous in the first place.

We asked our members to remember their first rehearsal and share what it was really like.

So if you’ve been thinking about joining us, take the leap. We’ll be ready to welcome you. 💚💙
