🧁 **CALLING ALL YOUNG BAKERS!** 🧁

Children are invited to enter our **FREE Scarecrow Festival Bake-Off** on Sunday 20 September!

Bring along your best homemade bake for the chance to win a prize. It can be scarecrow-themed, colourful and creative — or simply something delicious you love making!

After judging, the bakes will be sold with tea and coffee to raise money for continued improvements and maintenance of our village park.

To reserve a place, complete the attached form and either:

There is **no entry fee or donation required** for the children’s bake-off.

Just over 2 weeks to go to Shipton Scarecrow Festival 2026 on Sunday 20th September.

Any children wishing to enter the kids back off with a chance of winning 1st prize and runner up! Free entry. And of course Scarecrows! (Scarecrow entry details need to be provided by 13th September: [email protected])

If anyone would like to have a scarecrow please do get in touch! Hope to see as many of you there as possible.

We will be out and about selling raffle tickets, some great prizes again this year all to support our park.

Could your garden, gate, window or driveway become part of the **Shipton Scarecrow Trail**?

We would love households around the village to create a scarecrow for the festival on **Sunday 20 September**.

Traditional, funny, colourful, clever or completely unexpected — we can’t wait to see what Shipton creates!

🗺️ **To be included on the scarecrow trail map, entries must be received by Sunday 13 September.** Hay will be available at the allotments the same as last year, kindly donated again by Claire and Robert Sherry! Thank you!

🛍️ **STALLHOLDERS WANTED!** 🛍️

Would you like to hold a stall at the **Shipton Scarecrow Festival**?

📅 Sunday 20 September
⏰ 11am–4pm
📍 Shipton Community Centre

Stalls can sell homemade or handcrafted goods, good-quality second-hand items, books, toys, plants, gifts and more.

There is a **minimum £5 donation to the festival**, and you keep all the proceeds made on your stall.

To reserve your place, complete the attached form and either:

Forms submitted by email are welcome, with donations dropped off separately at Ivy Cottage.

Then, from **4pm**, join us at **The Dawnay Arms Pub** for the BBQ, raffle and prize-giving!
