Dance can aid physical development, co-ordination, spatial awareness, a sense of creativity and self expression along with being a great form of exercise and socialising. bbodance syllabus classes are part of the National qualifications framework and examinations are offered on a regular basis, along with regular performance opportunities.

As we approach the end of term, lots of Bronze, Silver and a Gold medal went out in Melody Bear class this week.

We have been having lots of fun in Melody Bear dancing as Jack in the boxes, and practicing our excited faces. This week we will be flying like butterflies.

Monday Medals on a Tuesday.
It was absolutely delightful to see the excitement of this little one when I gave her, her 1st Melody Bear medal. From shy to joining in confidently. Well done little lady!

What a fun day we had today in our Easter Dance and craft workshop. Lot's of spring themed dancing, and crafting spring head dresses and flower ribbon wreaths. As always so wonderful to see you all working so well together accross age groups, creating your own choreography and helping each other with tricky crafts.

We were cheeky Bunnies in Melody Bear on Saturday. Creeping through the fields to pinch carrot's, running away from the farmer, and filling the room with squeals of delight and laughter. I have THE best job!

This week I gave a very well deserved Dance with Dash Superstar award to Rae. She has danced with us for around 10 years, starting with Melody Bear, and really enjoys her Tap classes. Rae has never however wanted to take part in our performances or exams. Over the last 8 months , she has performed in a talent contest at school, took part in our summer show and now her 1st bbodance exams. Its been so wonderful to see you have the confidence to take part in these and come out absolutely beaming. Keep believing in yourself! SUPERSTAR!
