"That's why life should be in full colour then."

As our production of A History of Falling Things draws to a close this evening, we wish to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has contributed to making this run a resounding, unforgettable success. Bringing this beautiful piece of theatre to life has been a labour of love, and we could not be prouder of what we have achieved together.

To Our Wonderful Audiences

We thank you for your support, warmth, and encouragement throughout the week. Sharing this profoundly moving, funny, and delicate story with you has been an absolute privilege. Sitting in the auditorium and feeling your laughter, your silence, and your collective empathy meant the world to us. Your wonderful feedback has truly kept our spirits high and reminded us exactly why we do this.

To Our Outstanding Cast, Crew, and Creative Team

Your unwavering dedication, meticulous attention to detail, and collaborative enthusiasm brought this challenging, beautiful text to life at every rehearsal and every show this week. From the subtle nuances on stage to the seamless magic happening backstage, you transformed the written word into something truly extraordinary. You are the heartbeat of this production.

A production like this requires a village, and we have been incredibly fortunate to have the support of some fantastic local institutions:

Jacobs Well: Our heartfelt thanks go out to you for providing the space that allowed us to begin our rehearsals and lay the foundations for this show.

Bradford Playhouse : A massive, thank you for hosting us this week and accommodating our rehearsals. Your venue has been the perfect home for our story, and your team has as always been a joy to work with.

Whilst this chapter concludes tonight, we are already looking ahead with immense excitement. We are already putting plans into motion for what comes next as we continue to celebrate our 10th anniversary year , and we look forward to welcoming you back to the theatre for our next production in autumn.

What an incredible opening night for A History of Falling Things!

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for a wonderful evening of theatre—the energy in the room was absolutely electric.

We are absolutely blown away by the incredible response to the show. A massive congratulations to our phenomenal cast and creative team!

Here is what the audience is saying:

“Corin's direction is lively, exciting, and allows his incredible cast to exist in the space with honesty and magic.”

“Joe's Robin is a stroke of pure genius; a performance that leaps beyond the page, and into your heart - it was magical to see a friend become unrecognisable in real time.”

“Rachel was also so utterly wonderful as Jacqui she was the most remarkable, watchable, lovable presence on stage throughout.”

“Joe was phenomenal with the stuttering, I kept going back and forth between the stutter is real and no wait it's the character and it gets worse when he's stressed and anxious, but then it was so convincing”

If you missed out on last night, don't worry! This beautiful, funny, and touching play runs for the rest of the week, with tickets still available.
