Autumn is upon us, the nights are drawing in, and you are looking for something to do on those cold dark nights - well why not visit the ‘Shipham Players Open Day’!

We do 3 productions a year (one including young members) and rehearsals are usually Monday’s and Wednesday’s in Shipham Village Hall.

No experience necessary and no commitment needed, just come down to Shipham Village Hall and see what we are all about, and turn the ‘ber’ months into ‘brilliant’ months 😉

No experience needed. No auditions. No pressure. Just bring yourself and a willingness to have some fun!

We’d especially love to meet local adults who fancy trying something new, but children aged 9+ are also very welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult at all times).

We are so thrilled to have matched your donated funds for our pantomime programme, to this fantastic local charity 🤩

💛💛 A huge thank you to the Shipham Players amateur dramatics team, who raised an amazing £200 through matched programme donations at their pantomime Robin Hood.

What a fantastic amount, it will go far in helping the children and young people of our community.

☀️🔥 SHIPHAM PLAYERS SUMMER SOCIAL 🔥☀️

What a day! The Shipham Players gathered for their annual summer social featuring a BBQ in a beautiful garden, glorious sunshine, and temperatures somewhere between “lovely” and “surface of the sun.” 🌞🥵

The burgers were sizzling, the drinks were flowing, and the laughter was certainly loud..

From name that tune to accidental comedy 🫣 and enough merriment to power our next production, it was an incredibly funny day from start to finish.

Huge thanks to our wonderful hosts, and to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant, joy-filled afternoon.

Shipham Players may know how to put on a show, but it turns out we’re pretty good at putting on a BBQ too!

Thanks to everyone who donated money for a programme at the recent performances of ‘Escape!’.

We matched your donations, and are pleased to confirm the sum of £110 was given to the Devon & Somerset Air Ambulance.

The charity was chosen by one of the performers in the play, and we are thrilled to be able to support local charities in this way!
