You’ll find Ian Sutton’s fabulous linocuts as well as Jean Edmonds small organic pieces at this weekend’s exhibition. Eight of us will be showing our latest work in the ‘art gallery’ at the hall. Joining us will be local author Richard Masters with his new book of short stories. Enjoy browsing and then contemplate with a cuppa and a slice of cake with friends… we look forward to seeing you there.

Anne Carpenter needs no introduction! She was one of the founders of the original Shades of Shipham group of artists. Although artists have come and gone, we are still exhibiting together over 20 years later. Here are a couple of examples of Anne‘s latest work to whet your appetite. We’re all frantically getting ready and look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition on Saturday and Sunday. Don’t forget we can serve you lovely home-made cakes(including vegan and gluten-free), teas and coffees to round your visit off nicely.

We welcome back Richard Masters, local Shipham author, to this year’s exhibition. He would love to introduce you to his new book called ‘Shorts’, an anthology of short stories that he has written over the last three years. All three previous books have had excellent reviews and the Sago Swamp has sold over 1000 copies. Richard gives 30% of all royalties to various charities. He is looking forward to having the opportunity to chat with you about his books and the joy of writing. So we hope to see you at the weekend. Don’t forget you can chat over a cup of coffee and a slice of home-made cake.🍰☕️
