STRUAN HASWELL 💫V&A DUNDEE SPOTLIGHT💫
Struan’s work explores his deep interest in wildlife observation of both the Human and Natural World.
His weekly studio practice often begins with him creating lists which gather points of intrigue and perplexion that he then develops through drawing and printmaking.
Struan Haswell’s featured work ‘There’s no point in remembering something I do not remember from the past’ is from his classic “Struan Sayings”. In this case a wooly mammoth is paired with the text to make the perfect visual combination.
Struan also has new works in the V&A Dundee shop - a new hammerhead shark screenprint edition ‘Bewildered Means Surprised and Confused’, 3 new badge designs and a 2 tote bags ‘Rain Is Just Drops Of Water’ and ‘Thinking Can Be Confusing’.
