The Chapel Dance Studio offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz and Musical Theatre for all ages, preparing students for exams, displays and concerts in a fun, friendly environment. The school's Principal, Emma Hill has been teaching at the studio for 16 years with Di Tothill and The Centre School of Dance. Following Di's retirement in July 2016, the school has been relaunched as The Chapel Dance Stud

io. Emma gained her BBO Dance Teachers Associate Certificate in 2002, qualifying with Distinction and a personal letter of congratulations from BBO Director, John Travis. On going courses in ballet, tap, jazz, modern and musical theatre ensure continued professional development and closer links with the dance industry. Emma has also choreographed and directed "Spellbound", Frome Musical Theatre's Youth Group in numerous full scale musical productions at The Memorial Theatre in Frome. In the community, Emma has run Dance Fit exercise classes and dance sessions for WI, Scout groups and local schools. The Chapel Dance Studio will continue to support the local festivals, fetes and carnivals and hopes to inspire the next generation of dancers.

Thank you to everyone who came to our dance show in The Chapel, Paul Street Community Centre.
We had a wonderful time and raised £478.65 to be split between the Alzheimer's Society and The British Heart Foundation, two charities which mean a lot to many of our dancers.
Huge thanks to all involved both on and off stage, to Tescos for donating the mince pies served in the interval and to St Aldhelm's Church for letting us borrow their pew cushions.
Thank you to our super cast and all the dancers. To the tech crew, cafe ladies, chaperones, hair, makeup and costume makers. Two brilliant nights spent with a lovely bunch of people!

Thank you dancers for a lovely afternoon putting our Christmas show together ready for next week.

Big thanks to everyone who helped today and for your kind donations at our refreshment stall.

Classes are on this Monday and Tuesday as normal. No classes on Wednesday. Then a tech/Dress run this Thursday.
