Thank you everyone who came to our exhibition last week. It was lovely to meet so many interesting people and to know that our work is not only in Wells but heading all over the UK.

It was an exciting and happy experience for the 7 of our group who exhibited. We will be back in December for2 weeks to show the work of 12 of our group.

The alternative view from our wonderful exhibition venue in Wells Museum Art Gallery. We’ve had more than 300 visitors since we opened on Tuesday but very few local people?!?!? It’s a cool space, with lovely views so why not support your local artists?

We are here 10-4 Friday and Saturday and even though we have a lot of sales we have restocked our walls and would love to see you.

Preparation nearly complete for Shepton Artists Summer exhibition which opens tomorrow (7th July) at 10.00 in Wells Museum Art Gallery. Tomorrow evening 6.30-8.30 we would love to welcome you with a glass of cool wine to meet the artists and enjoy the art.

We will be open daily from Tuesday 7th until Saturday 11th from 10.00-4.00 . Do joins us to support local artists.

Another one of Lynn Andrews creative floral paintings that will be for sale at Shepton Artists summer exhibition which opens in Wells Museum Art Gallery at 10.00 on Tuesday 7th July. To celebrate the opening we invite everyone to join us between 6.30-8.30 on Tuesday evening to meet the artists, view the art and enjoy a glass of cool wine from 6.30-8.30

Are all trees green? One of the paintings that Trisha Mason will be showing at the Shepton Artists Summer Exhibition. It’s due to be warm again so hopefully the green trees will cool you down.

Badger at Dusk is one of the watercolour paintings that Natasha Lee will be showing at Shepton Artists Summer Exhibition.

We will be exhibiting the work of 7 other local artists in Wells Museum Art Gallery 7-11th July. We would love to see you there. Open daily 10-4 or join us for a glass of wine on 7th at 6.30-8.30 and meet the artists.

How about an evening drink in the sun? This is one of Gillian Flack’s paintings that will be for sale at Shepton Artists summer exhibition. We are open from 7-11th July in Wells Museum Art Gallery 10-4 every day but if you are free on Tuesday evening 6.39-8.30 we would love to offer you a glass of wine - not sitting in the sun but the venue in the museum is absolutely beautiful and you will be looking at the best view of Wells Cathedral.
