Hatfield Woodhouse Phoenix Theatre Group are celebrating 20 years of incredible amateur dramatics and unforgettable shows! 🎉🎭

To mark the milestone, they put together ‘One Stage, Two Decades’ - a brilliant showcase variety show with their favourite songs, dances, and sketches from the past 20 years!

Designing the lighting for this show was enjoyable and creative. Bringing together many different eras and styles to life in a single show required a dynamic mix of moods and aesthetics.

Here’s to the next 20 years!

Last week, I operated the lighting for the brilliant The Lathums at Electric Studios, with Kate Couriel and Keyside supporting.

Along with it being my first time working at Electric Studios, it was also my first time using the Avolites Arena desk. It was great to get hands-on with the console, which worked well for a high energy show like this.

This was the winning act of the night — with the cast improvising entirely from audience suggestions. In this case, a fairy in deep despair over the lack of flowers in her haunted mansion garden.
