We were kindly invited along by the lovely Melissa at Story Tent Sheffield and what a welcome we had.

From the moment we arrived, Melissa made the session feel so personal..taking time to speak with us and every family there, rather than it ever feeling like just another class.

And our Teddy? Completely in his element! 😂🖤 Listening to stories, playing, exploring and taking everything in.

It’s exactly the kind of place we love sharing through Dotty Discovers..somewhere families can walk in and genuinely feel welcomed.

We’re pleased to welcome The Story Tent-Sheffield to The Reading Room, Treeton!

The Story Tent offers imaginative and sensory play for children aged 6 months to 5 years, bringing stories to life through play, exploration and creativity. 🌟

A lovely new activity for our younger residents and their grown-ups to enjoy right here in the village.

The team have been hard at work today making up lots of Gruffalo themed story sacks for our event tomorrow.

Each story sack contains a free book and items to help bring the story to life, giving children something fun to enjoy together at home.

As well as a day full of Gruffalo themed fun, our event aims to encourage children to discover the joy of reading and develop a lifelong love of stories, as part of the new South Yorkshire Mayor’s Little Big Book Club.
