A custom built jewellery and craft workshop providing a range of jewellery making and craft courses. Jewellery courses, silversmithing, metalwork, wirework and a range of craft courses are held at the studio by resident and visiting skilled makers and practitioners. We are so excited to have Alice coming to Sheffield later this year to teach anodising niobium in our workshop 😀

Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced maker looking to explore a different material, this workshop will be a cool mix of craft and science 🧪

Alice is an award-winning jeweller and silversmith, who graduated from The Glasgow School of Art with a First in Silversmithing and Jewellery Design, before going on to train at the prestigious Bishopsland Educational Trust. It was here that she won The Jane Goodman Award, which has given her a grant to further study the metal
‘niobium’ with anodising expert Brian Eburah.
Alice has exhibited in New York at the international show “MAD About Jewelry”, as well as London Craft Week and The Scottish Gallery. Alice exhibits at the world renowned Goldsmiths’ Fair, London.
Alice specialises in using the metal niobium within her work, allowing her to add highlights of iridescent colour through the technique of anodising. Alice is one of a small handful of metalworkers in the UK working in niobium and the only teacher of niobium anodising for jewellery in England and Scotland.

SPINNER RING WORKSHOP

We had a wonderful group in the workshop yesterday learning how to make spinner rings 😀 23 rings in total!

A brilliant group who all created such beautiful and unique rings. We pride ourselves on taking everyone through the process to finish beautiful pieces to take away and treasure forever 😍

This weekend we are opening our doors for you to come and have a look inside the workshop. You can find out more about our classes and one day workshops. You can also visit next door.

We will have a beautiful display of objects and jewellery from and . We will also have some students working in the space who will be happy to answer your questions 😊

We are open Saturday, Sunday and Monday 11-5pm.
