Out and about in Sheffield today?

Why not head into the city and enjoy the fantastic Sheffield Music Trail!

You might even spot some members of Sheffield Community Choir performing at the Winter Gardens after 2.30pm and our choir director Janine Dyer as part of this wonderful celebration of local music and creativity.

There will be live music and performances taking place across the city, including at Tudor Square, The Diamond, Winter Gardens and Harmony Works.

The suns out! ,come along, soak up the atmosphere, support local artists, and discover some of the amazing musical talent Sheffield has to offer.

Last night at Sheffield Community Choir we continued working on “Anthem of Praise” by the legendary Richard Smallwood 🎶✨

We’re taking our time with this one piecing it together bit by bit, week by week making sure everybody feels confident with their harmony parts and the overall arrangement before we move onto dynamics and expression next week.

I honestly think they’re doing an amazing job already ❤️👏🏾

Sometimes people only see the finished performance, but this is the real work behind the scenes… patience, repetition, teamwork and lots of listening to one another.

A little spotlight on one of our amazing tenors Petros❤️🎶
He’s been part of the Sheffield Community Choir family since 2019, on and off over the years, but one thing’s for sure… he always comes back 😊
he’s become such a valued part of the Sheffield Community Choir and we’re always so glad to see him!
Such a lovely guy with a great spirit, and like so many people, choir has been a real positive for him over the years too. Community, music, laughter, friendship and good vibes that’s what were all about.
