Sheffield Community Choir We're a vibrant community gospel choir based in Sheffield. We love to sing and spread the good news! Why not book us for your event or join us at practice?

Sheffield Community Choir is open to all members of the Sheffield Community and also people from surrounding areas. All are welcome to join the choir, regardless of your singing ability. Still reminiscing...

Can you believe it's already been a week? It's gone so quickly!

We were definitely still musically hungover from such an incredible concert the night before, this time last saturday, and the memories are still making us smile. We're already missing singing these songs together and, believe it or not, we're even missing our Thursday rehearsals! But for now, it's time for a well-earned rest before we do it all again.
These are your community. These are your people Sheffield Community Choir .

The Sheffield Community Gospel Choir beautiful faces, beautiful people inside and out, and truly beautiful voices.

A little moment from our SOLD OUT Sheffield Cathedral concert.

Thank you so much to the audience member who captured this and kindly sent it to me. I really appreciate it!

Every time Sheffield Community Gospel Choir sings at the cathedral, it's become a bit of a tradition for our choir director Janine Dyer to step out and sing a solo. It's always one of the moments looked forward to.

What makes it even more special is sharing it with the incredible James, Chief Organist at Sheffield Cathedral.We absolutely love the way he commands that magnificent pipe organ. The fusion of classical and gospel music, even if only for a few minutes, is something truly special.

This is His Eye Is on the Sparrow. We only have a short clip, but I hope you enjoy this little glimpse. 🎶

WE SOLD OUT!!

Guys... I can't believe I'm actually saying this... it's Concert Day and we SOLD OUT!! 😭🙌

I only found out quite late last night, and I honestly just want to say a massive THANK YOU to every single one of you who has supported us, shared our posts, told your friends and, of course, bought a ticket.

If I'm honest, I really didn't think we'd sell out this time i was cool with that, so this has completely blown me away. In just the last couple of days, you all snapped up well over a hundred tickets! Your support means more than you'll ever know.
I'm so sorry to everyone who's been messaging asking if there are any tickets left. We genuinely are completely sold out. I know lots of people left it until the last minute this time!

If you missed out, please don't leave it so long next time!! Be first in the queue when our next concert goes on sale. We'll be back in October with another big concert, and we'd love to see you there.

For everyone joining us tonight... we're going to have an incredible evening of music, joy and celebration. We are so excited and can't wait to see you all.

I told my choir, "Practice, practice, practice!" ahead of our big concert on Friday 17th July... and these two definitely understood the assignment!
One of our amazing tenors and one of our incredible sopranos are giving it everything, and my girl is belting out those soaring high notes on the Clark Sisters gospel classic, "You Brought the Sunshine."

We're bringing the sunshine to Sheffield Cathedral tomorrow, and we'd love you to be there!
