SUPER SPEEDY short notice - event on Tuesday, but looks great.

Super speedy short notice (Tuesday event) but a great offer, as there are spaces:

Greenhouse: Developing your skills in work with young people

IVE is delighted to be working with WE Great Place to offer South Yorkshire based artists a series of professional development workshops.

We offer workshops to help you expand your knowledge, confidence and expertise in working with children and young people.

Designed for emerging and established artists, who want to be experts in the field of quality creative teaching and learning for children and young people, these workshops will enable you to explore your current practice and hone your offer and skills to develop meaningful, authentic and inspirational experiences for children and young people.
Open to all artists in South Yorkshire, with priority given to artists who are resident in Barnsley and Rotherham. We ask for a £10 deposit per session, which we refund for those who attend.

Setting up your ‘learning’ business
What do you need to put in place when setting yourself up and starting out as a freelance creative practitioner? We’ll cover risk assessment, legalities and safeguarding, marketing and communications, and everything you need to know to protect you and the people you’re working with.

12:30 - 16:00, Tuesday 10 December 2019
Elsecar Heritage Centre, Wath Road, Elsecar, Barnsley, S74 8HJ
