Tonight should have been our final concert of the 2019/20 Sheffield International Concert Season, the season may have been paused but we hope you enjoy this wonderful at home performance of Canzonetta from Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto by Francesca D**o, which she also played in our season last year, with Daniele Rustioni on piano.

It is with a heavy heart that we have had to cancel the remaining concerts of the Sheffield International Concert Season, Sheffield City Hall Classical, and draw this current season to a close. The health of our customers, our staff, the orchestras, the chorus and their teams is at the forefront of our decision making and our absolute priority.

Classical music has been at the heart of the venue since opening in 1932 and cancelling a concert is the very last thing we would ever want to do but in these unprecedented circumstances we want to give our customers and supporters certainty, however disappointing this is for us all, and reassurance that they can access refunds for these tickets.
All ticket holders will be contacted directly.

Looking ahead, we are busy finalising details for our 2020/21 season with the Hallé and look forward to sharing the details of the brand new season with you very soon.
