An Intimate Piano Performance from Lambchop 🎹

After a run of memorable shows, including appearances at London’s Barbican and Primavera Sound, Lambchop returns to Europe and the UK for a new series of intimate performances.

Lambchop has consisted of a large and fluid collective of musicians focused around its creative centre, frontman Kurt Wagner. Initially indebted to traditional country, the band’s music has subsequently moved through a range of influences including post-rock, soul and lounge music. Whatever the style, the characteristic mood of Lambchop’s music is evoked by Wagner’s distinctive song writing: lyrically subtle and ambiguous, the vocals melodic but understated.

Coming to the Octagon Centre on tour, it’s Yard Act!

Since first steering their golden rover into swift public acclaim back in 2020, Leeds quartet Yard Act have become one of the great UK indie success stories of the decade so far.

With two top five albums, a Mercury Prize nomination, and countless shows and festival appearances spanning the globe, they’ve grown from their minimal post-punk roots into a truly muscular and expansive outfit. Currently working in the studio with producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen (known for his work with Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Wolf Alice) and with album three on the horizon Yard Act look set to make 2026 their own.
