The Enchanted Loft

If you're stuck for something to do this Saturday (7th July) and you have children aged 2 - 8 years then I can recommend a trip to see The Enchanted Loft. The loft is a roof like canopy rigged up in the Winter Garden with all sorts of amazing things for children to discover underneath. It's FREE and on from 10am - 4pm.

I went down to Site Gallery (Brown Street, S1 2BS) on Monday to see 'The Colour Bright' - a contemporary art exhibition aimed at families - it is amazing. Juneau Projects, the artists behind it have been working with 100s of children to make the exhibition and it is well worth a look. This Saturday there's a FREE animation workshop there too - 11am - 5.30pm.

I've re-named 'Just a Bit of Paper' to 'Just a Bit of Brilliance'. Their shows in libraries went down a storm - anything that can keep 50 pre-schoolers spellbound for an hour has my respect - fantastic!

Just a Bit of Paper has proved really popular. All shows are SOLD OUT apart from Stocksbridge Library on Thursday 21 June, 1.30pm. To avoid tears call them now to book your tickets on 0114 273 4205.
