Founded by Jennie Swift and John Slater. The aim of Black Box Productions is to work with artists from all creative backgrounds to produce events and experiences that live on in the memory forever. We don’t believe that creative arts should take place only behind the closed doors of a theatre. Instead, we strive to put on shows in unusual places - department stores, Bessemer Converters, galleries,
colleges, cafe's, and in the street. This is where experimental theatre began in the 60's where they became known as Black Box Theatres. Black Box is a non-profit organisation that's aim is to make a 'change' and inspire people through the arts and the theatre. Black Box is proud to have collaborated with CRISIS, As Suffa, RATS, and Funny brains Charities. Producing unique events full of comedy, music, song, dance, and drama - where the entertainment is not limited to a stage, These ingredients make any Black Box Production a unique interactive audience experience.
