Sheffield Afro Festival Afrofest is a new annual music, dance and cultural festival, that seeks to celebrate African culture within the Sheffield region and aims to bring together

Launched in 2014 Afrofest is non-profit organisation, with the idea to put any surplus funds back in to next year's event to make it even bigger. Afrofest is an annual cultural festival that showcases the diversity of African music, dance and culture.Based in Sheffield the festival Intends to Bring together music and dance from all walks of life and fuse the different genres with a backdrop of A

frican culture. The aim of the festival is to entertain and educate the people of Sheffield through song and dance whilst highlighting the diverse multicultural, family Orientated feel of Sheffield and south Yorkshire as a whole. Afrofest is a one day event , fun filled event that caters for the whole family,In the next few years the festival will be running for several days over the weekend of spring bank holiday. Afrofest offers a day filled with live entertainment, food, drink and a guarantee of a stress free HAKUNA MATATA family day out.
