🎉 NEW GUEST ALERT! 🎉

We're thrilled to welcome the wonderful RITA BRAGA to The Yorkshire Dales Ukulele Weekender! 🇵🇹🎶

Rita is a Portuguese singer, songwriter and ukulele player with a gloriously eclectic, whimsical style, mixing fado, surf, cabaret and experimental pop with a big dose of surreal storytelling. Her new album Fado Tropical (her fifth, and first sung entirely in Portuguese) is out now, and The Wire once named her among its top ukulele records!

We've known Rita for years from the European festival circuit, so having her join us in Settle is a real treat. Don't miss her!

Hi All

Just finalising the programme and Sat evening poster for those tickets to go on sale via the box office...

Some news is that John Archer now has to fly to Hollywood on the Sat morning (tough eh?) so unfortunately can't be with us for the weekend so while he's slacking off and pretending to work over there we have another surprise guest... details to follow.

There's about 5 weekend tickets left so if your still thinking might wanna get on it soon.

Thanks so much for your support and we'll have the details hopefully this coming week for you x

Getting our gear together for The Ukulele Festival of Great Britain this weekend...

We're really looking forward to playing in Cheltenham again. We first played this festival way back in 2010 and then all of them - originally as The Anything Goes Orchestra then as Dead Mans Uke... we've played on main stage a bunch of times, the Sunday stage and even the dealer room and busking around the site one year with our mates The Winin' Boys.

It's been a really important event for us over the years, meeting people and players from all over the world who have become good friends and working on our act year after year - we look forward to catching up with friends old and new.

This year we'll be closing the Friday night show in the Town Hall and also playing on Saturday with The Warehouse of Thieves, Jake is also playing some of the set with Charlotte Pelgen too so we'lre busy boys!

I"m sure we'll find other stuff to do too - come and say Hi!
