I hope everyone has had a good break and looking forward to starting work on 'The Servant of Two Mafias' The Musical. Ian and I have been busy writing songs and re-working the script. We would like to share our progress with you so I have booked Trinity Community Centre on Sunday, 28th June and Sunday, July 5th so we can explore the script and try out some of the songs. We meet at 12.00 p.m. and finish at 2.00 p.m for both sessions. I hope you can make them both or at least one of them. Please bring along anyone who is interested in becoming a member. Looking forward to seeing you all again.

Well done to everyone for the fantastic performances this week of 'Echoes' at Wombwell Playhouse. It was a great week with so many positive comments from members of the audience. To stage this show with just eleven actors was a triumph and it once again proved a real 'tear jerker' with great songs and lovely moments of humour. I have had lovely feedback from the staff at the theatre who were impressed with your work ethos, politeness and how tidy you left the dressing room and stage area. You are a credit to the group and we couldn't be more proud of you. We are all cleared up now and costumes will be put away tomorrow. Sad, but we still go on and we can look forward to staging a hilarious musical version of 'The Servant of Two Mafias'.

Only a week to go before we are staging Echoes at Wombwell playhouse. Back into rehearsals after easter and we are working hard to put on a great show. Please come and support these talented and hardworking young people.

Well done everyone for the hard work put into yesterday's rehearsal. We made really good progress and continued to solve the challenges we face in putting 'Echoes' together with imagination, determination and talent. You support each other so well and the work put in since September is really starting to show what a great production this will be. Tickets are now on sale priced at £10.00 and £8.00 concessions and can be purchased through wombwellthespians.org.uk website via ticket source. Really push the tickets with all your friends, family and acquaintances.
