Steel City Opry Pop up American old time and early country music in Sheffield Steel City Opry came into being in early 2013. The workshop tuition is top class.

We promote occasional workshops and concerts featuring musicians from the U.S. on tour in the UK, providing a unique opportunity to learn and enjoy this music from the source. Good food and drink and the cosy atmosphere of the Harland Café set the scene for our informal style ‘house concerts’ where there are opportunities for floor spots and an open jam session to finish the evening. We have just enjoyed two great gigs in Sheffield, one at The Dorothy Pax and the other at The Nether Edge Bowling Club. Our Next Gig coming up is at Roman Lakes, over Marple way. This is a Tea Dance.
