The Great Old Ones announced as the headliners for Warhorns Winterfest debut show in January 2020 - full details below!

Completing the first Warhorns Winterfest lineup, in association with Doomstar Bookings and Season of Mist, we present our 2020 Headliners:

The Great Old Ones!

Hailing from Bordeaux, France; the H.P. Lovecraft-inspired 5-piece deliver a mix of atmospheric/ambient, post-black and extreme metal.

With three releases under their belt with Season Of Mist, Les Acteurs De l'Ombre and Antithetic Records, The Great Old ones will release a new EP “Cosmicism” on 25 October 2019!

**Charity announcement for the 29th November 2018**

Most people in the UK will remember that the first weekend of December in 2017 was one of the coldest in many years. This was especially bad for the UK's homeless people, with news articles of people freezing to death on the streets. Poverty, homelessness and homeless deaths have increased in recent years, and with this winter set to be very cold once again, this is only likely to continue.

We have decided to take this opportunity to make a small difference, and so at the Finsterforst, Obscurity + support at Nambucca show on 29th November, we will be supporting both The Trussell Trust, who run a number of food banks in London, and Hands On London's "Wrap Up London" Campaign - a project that collects warm clothing for homeless and vulnerable people.

There will be volunteers at this event, and anyone attending who donates something for the food banks will receive a shot of either Jägermeister or a coffee liqueur*. (required items and terms/conditions in first comment)

In addition to our food bank collection, anyone who donates a warm winter coat, thick winter jumper or (clean) sleeping bag will not only receive a "thank you" shot*, but will also be given a raffle ticket* with some excellent prizes on offer:

OBSCURITY CDs
A copy of Countless Skies' album "New Dawn"
A Hex Morbidity T-shirt and patch

The winners will be announced in the changeover between Obscurity and Finsterforst.
