Our first night meal is this Wednesday!

Please feel free to come along and support our show. It's being kindly hosted by our good friends at BB's Italian Restaurant, right in the city centre. Please arrive from 10pm, and remember to bring cash and your own drinks!

"Just married. Bored already. Hedda Gabler longs to be free.”

Hedda Gabler is a woman whose delusions of grandeur and anticipations of her future have been dashed, forcing her into a marriage and a home she does not want. In an attempt to grasp some semblance of control over her life and the lives of others, she constructs a prison for herself that she must escape.
After returning from their honeymoon, HEDDA and JORGEN TESMAN return to an empty home funded by Jorgen’s aunt JULIANA, the sinister JUDGE BRACK, and the banks. Soon MRS. ELVSTED and EILERT LOVBORG enter the Tesman world, the latter being a recovering alcoholic who has just returned to society with a new book. Hedda, in her boredom, meddles excessively, wrecking the lives of those around her as well as her own.

Showing at The Lantern Theatre, 29th March - 1st April 2023, from 7:30pm. The performance on the 30th will be a more relaxed accessible run.

Content warnings: death, alcohol abuse, su***de, violence, gunshots, mental health, references to sexual abuse. For more information please get in touch.

We are currently looking for set constructors who will help us build the set and generally be an extra pair of hands on get-in! Get in will be Sunday 26th March 4pm - 10pm, and we are also looking for help pre-painting and constructing set on Tuesday 21st March during the day.
You will also then receive a free ticket to watch the show on a day of your choice!

We are also looking for a lighting operator (or multiple if people can only make a couple of the show dates). This will mean being at the get in on Sunday 26th March 4-10pm and then attending the tech, dress and show nights 27th March - 1st April 6:30-10:30 pm
No experience is required, we can teach you all that you need to know!
