About us
The annual Sheffield Chinese New Year show has been running since 2004 in the spectacular grade II listed building of the City Hall situated in the heart of the city centre. Join us in the evening for traditional performances from dancers, singers, musicians and acrobats, etc. Expect authentic costumes and award-winning productions from both the local community and entertainers all the way from China! Every year, over 2000 people of all backgrounds come together to celebrate and watch this show which is strongly supported by the Sheffield government, the Chinese Embassy and Chinese Consulate who will be giving speeches at the event. Get ready to be immersed into an unforgettable night of Chinese culture... TICKETS: https://www.sheffieldcityhall.co.uk/event/chinese-new-year Ball Room Pre-show: Admission to this section is free and starts from 4:30 pm in the Ball Room where guests can try traditional Chinese food, calligraphy and painting, watch warm-up performances and experience the lively atmosphere of Chinese New Year.
