IMPORTANT SECURITY UPDATE.
JANUARY 2025

Happy new year to all on my page and fellow art lovers worldwide!

Just due to a near miss with a scammer earlier this afternoon, I shall be carrying profile verification checks on all customers purchasing copies of my art on Facebook as of today before sending anybody my paypal link.

For the time being I will be selling my art only as physical copies but will keep the prices (including postage) princely as can.

Thanks for your understanding.

DERWENT DAM Derbyshire

Back in action on the page and moving on to the Peak District with this one I did of this immense stone dam at Ladybower a while back.

For those from outside the UK, the Peak District is one of the country's largest national parks. The dams were built with the construction of reservoirs here in the 1930s, which also involved the demolition of two villages in the valley.

One I did of the centre of Dewsbury in West Yorkshire during late 2020. It was based on an image I'd captured one wet Thursday afternoon, two years earlier when the town looked like it was already getting a lockdown rehearsal in, given the emptiness of the place.

Completed December 2020.
