The fish project is now completed and the banners are in their permanent place at Nether Green Church.
It was a wonderful experience working with the local community who each made a fabric & embroidery fish. 248 in total plus 2 jelly fish. More pics to follow!

Lovely fishes machine stitched by one of the new members at the Bolsterstone workshop on Saturday. I get to see so many different makes and models of sewing machines & It’s sometimes a challenge getting them set up to be able to freely draw with. This one was, but it’s owner did a brilliant job of stitching these fabulous fish.

Great day with the wonderful ‘Inspiration 21’ group based in Walton. I taught a one day free-machine embroidery workshop where we experimented with stitch drawing and fabric appliqué. Some were completely new to this technique. Here are a few of the lovely drawings of flowers & leaves.
