🌿✨ A little illustrated love letter to a few days tucked away in the Cornish wilderness… 🍄🌙
I was kindly invited on a gifted retreat with at ,surrounded by the most wonderful group of creative women 💫🦋
So many of us were mums, makers, dreamers & business owners! all navigating the wild, beautiful juggle of motherhood and creativity 🌸
Being an artist & a mum is the biggest joy, but it ain’t an easy job lol It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done… especially in this modern world of juggling work, relationships, family life, running a business & a household (the list goes on lol 🥲)
There are days where ideas are squeezed into nap times, messages are replied to between cuddles, and your own creative cup can start to feel a little empty.
This was actually my first night away from Laurie 🌙😭 (a big mum milestone!) and although it felt strange stepping away, it reminded me how important it is to make little moments to reconnect with myself too ✨
A few days of woodland walks 🌲 cups of tea under the trees ☕ fireside chats 🔥 meditation 🧘♀️ beautiful workshops, skincare rituals with 🌿 and conversations with inspiring women who just get it!!!
I came home with a full heart and a refreshed imagination… so naturally I had to turn all those little pockets of magic into a little illustrated dreamworld of its own 🎨🦋🍄
