Camp Kindling 2026, that's a wrap 🎉
Before anything else: thank you. We know what it takes to get a family into a forest for a weekend. The packing, the negotiating, the car boot that never quite shuts, and the leap of faith in saying yes to something you can't fully picture yet. We see all of it, and we don't take a single ticket for granted.
Last year we introduced the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and the fireworks, and we weren't sure how we'd follow them. Then you turned up in numbers we've never seen before, and 2026 became our biggest year EVER 🤩
We'd kept one thing back for the Closing Ceremony. When the drones went up over the arena and reviewed the weekend we had all spent together, it brought a tear to our eye.
But the best bit is a child coming off an activity, excited to go again even though they were terrified of doing it ten minutes earlier. It's also Mum whizzing through the sky on a trapeze or Dad learning a K-Pop dance!
And then today. You got home yesterday afternoon, and more than 1,000 of you have already booked to come back next year. Some of you can't have finished unpacking yet! We've read that number a few times now and we still don't quite know what to say to it, except thank you. Trusting us with another one of your family's summers is not a small thing, and we know it.
Some time this week, have a scroll through your camera roll, listen to the stories they're still telling each other, and feel a bit proud of the weekend you gave them.
