Dance classes for children and adults in Settle and Low Bentham.

All forms of Theatre Dance are taught including Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Theatre Craft, Freestyle, Street Dance and Musical Theatre. IDTA exams regularly taken and students have the opportunity to perform both locally and further afield. We cater for all students, whether dancing purely for fun and fitness or planning to pursue a career in Performing Arts.

⭐️ JAZZ/FREESTYLE CLASS AGES 5-8 ⭐️
We are considering starting a new Jazz class on a Monday at 4pm, at our studio in Settle. (If your child is 4 and already dances with us in the 5-8 year old class, this is also open to them).

What an incredible weekend!

We couldn't be any prouder of our amazing students - you were all superstars. And with each show you just got better and better 🌟

Not only were you stars on the stage, but also backstage - the way you look after, and support each other, means the world to us. This is what our school is all about.

Thank you to our wonderful teachers - Miss Sophie, Miss Claire and Miss Bella and our student teachers Miss Lexi and Miss Flo.

Thank you to everyone who helped backstage - we couldn't have done it without you.

And of course the biggest thank you must go to our wonderful students. Thank you for your hard work, energy and enthusiasm.

A special thank you to our wonderful chaperones - we couldn't have done it without you 💕

And to our amazing students...thank you - not only for all your hard work, but also for the support you give each other. It is so lovely to have the whole school together, from our little 3 year olds, to our ladies.

We can't wait to see you all shine on the stage, in front of a sell out audience next week ✨️✨️

🎉 HAPPY NEW YEAR from all at the Helen Howard School of Theatre Dance 🎉

2025 was a very busy year with excellent exam results, shows near and far, pantomimes and two amazing performances at His Majesty's Theatre, London.

Thank you to all our dancers and your families for all your dedication and support.
And a massive thank you to our fantastic team of teachers and assistants - I couldn't do it without you ❤️

2026 is going to be another busy and exciting year, and we can't wait to get back dancing with you on Monday 💃

🌟 There's no stopping this girl 🌟

Congratulations to Francesca who has successfully auditioned for another Associate programme.
Francesca has been offered a place at Northern Theatre Arts where she will be training with some of the top choreographers in the industry.

We are so proud of Francesca. She is one of the most dedicated and hard working students we know, and she deserves every bit of success ✨️

Tonight we said goodbye to Miss Emily as she taught her last class for us.
Thank you for all you have done for us over the last 3 years We've loved having you as part of our dance family and will miss you ❤️

A couple of weeks ago Miss Lauren had her last lesson with us before going to University. We want to thank her for all her help, and wish her lots of luck at Uni, and look forward to seeing her again very soon ❤️
