Doesn't seem long since the last North Yorkshire Yarn Trail!!

Can you spot our shop?

The North Yorkshire Yarn Trail starts on Saturday 12th September and runs until Sunday 27th September. 14 places are taking part this year, and Yarn Trail Maps, as shown below will be available to pick up, along with your passport from 7th September, watch out for your local shop saying they have them in stock. The Premise is easy, visit a participating shop, collect a map and passport. Collect stamps on your passport as you visit shops along the trail. No purchase is necessary to collect a stamp. The shops taking part will have various events and competitions within them, please follow the shops individually on social media too for more details. Yarndale takes place on Saturday and Sunday 26th and 27th September at Skipton Auction Mart. This is a separate ticketed event, please see their website. Some of the shops on the trail do have stands at Yarndale, and the Yarn Trail will be represented at a stand there too. You can gain an additional Yarndale stamp from the Trail stand at the show. It's going to be a busy month for me & I'm beavering away in the background getting ready for the North Yorkshire Yarn Trail & Yarnstravaganza.

Our big trade show is on Sunday so the new autumn stock will all start arriving next week.

New cotton poplin I picked up last week.

There is no price increase on any of the fabrics I brought back.......yippee.
It's not often nowadays & it's at least 2 years since the last increase.

This delightful kit will be in the shop in the next few days. I will make up a sample as soon as possible.

It was the middle of the night with dark clear skies. Everyone was asleep except for one tiny little mouse looking pensively at the sky.
"Why can't you sleep little Mouse?" asked the Moon.
"I wish I could fly amongst the stars, but I am only a little mouse and I can't fly" said the Mouse.
"That's no problem, replied the moon, come and sit with me. I'll take you to see the stars ✨️

Brand new kit and I think it might be my favourite 😍 ✨️
Many shops have preordered it, so it will be available in a shop near you in the next couple of days ✨️

It's the last bank holiday before Christmas......there, I've said the C word 🤣
