Pinch punch first of the month! I'm looking ahead towards a busy but exciting September. Family gatherings, toddler playdates and meeting new coursemates & tutors. I also plan to open my Etsy shop with new journaling themed crafts and supplies. Help me make it the best it could be; what would you expect to see from a journalling Etsy shop?

As the summer seems to be ending, let me introduce the autumn stickers I've created! I'll be using these in my planner and journal to add colour to the pages. My favourite is the fox, which is yours?

Tonight, I've sat infront of a sewing machine for the first time since Halloween. There were quite a few hiccups. From bobbins getting stuck, breaking, fabric bunching and masses of extra thread where it wasn't wanted, it all seems to be going wrong. In the end I resorted to using as many pins as I own. It worked. I'm so glad I persevered!

I've realised a lot of the things I've mentioned in my journal recently have been outdoors. No surprises there with the lovely weather we've had this spring. We've had picnics, we've been on walks (or rather scoots for me 👩‍🦼), we've had people over for BBQs, the list goes on. But no matter what we've done, or where we've been, I've been appreciating the flowers. So, today I've been out and collected a few to press and put in the journal.

Don't get me wrong, I've been writing about frustrating moments along the way. But keeping a journal helps me acknowledge the good things which helps me have a balanced view of life. A few flowers will brighten the pages even more 🌸🪻🌹🌼

Hi everyone! I'd like to introduce a change to my page. You hopefully remember me as Z.M.Cooper paintings but as I've not painted much for a long while I've decided to change direction.

I have always journaled to help my mental health, and lately I've combined artwork with my journal by creating beautiful handbound books. I invite you to continue to follow this page now it's turned to Janner Journals to stay up to date with not only my artwork but my new journey into counselling training!

Do you journal or keep a diary? Keep following and maybe we can share ideas.

Cheers everyone ☺️

I love waking up to the sound of birds singing their morning chorus, we have blackbirds nesting in a tree in our backgarden at the moment so it can get pretty noisy. They have a beautiful song though which if I'm lucky wakes me up before the baby does! While away we woke and went to bed with the sound of the birds and lots of sheep around us. We had a brilliant stay glamping up in the Yorkshire Dales. Amazing scenery on the drive and walks nearby.
