Splashpark at Senghenydd Welfare Park Opening hours are subject to change and subject to the weather. We may close early at short notice if we don’t have visitors.

Opening Times:
Term Time (May- Sept) Weekends only
Summer Holidays 12:00pm - 5:30pm every day (weather permitting)

Children must be with an adult at all times. The splash park is run by volunteers so please note opening hours may change at short notice.

Splash is sorry to say we are unable to open today and tomorrow due to our volunteers having other work commitments. Weather permitting we will be open Saturday and Sunday.

Hi everyone, Splash sends apologies for lateness in posting.

Splash is happy to say we opened today at 12pm as the weather is great and will be open until 5pm. We are forecast the same weather tomorrow so will be opening again 12pm-5pm.

💦🌞 Splash-tastic news everyone! 🌞💦

The wait is almost over… 🎉

Our Splash park in Senghenydd will be OPEN this Saturday from 12 noon until 5:30pm!

And even better we’ll be open for the rest of the week too (weather permitting ☀️🌦️).

So grab your swimsuits, towels, and biggest splashes, and come make some amazing memories with us! 😄💦

A massive thank you to all the members of the Men’s Shed Group for their incredible hard work at the Senghenydd Splash Park. 👏☀️

The team took on a mammoth task, repairing the fence, re-cementing the posts, cutting and edging the grass around the paths, and cleaning the splash pads. Their dedication and community spirit have helped ensure the Splash Park is ready for local children and families to enjoy when the sunshine arrives! 🌿💦

Your hard work is truly appreciated and makes a real difference to our community.

If you’re interested in joining the Men’s Shed Group, they meet at the YMCA every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am–12pm. New members are always welcome!

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Can parents please check where their children are and what they’re doing around the Splash-park in Senghenydd.

The fence has been damaged and the cameras have also been vandalised. This is completely unacceptable and it’s the younger children and families who end up missing out because of it.

The Splash-park is there for everyone to enjoy, not in to be destroyed. If this behaviour continues, there’s a real risk it could end up being closed or cost the community even more money to repair.

Please speak to your children and help put a stop to this before it’s completely ruined for everyone.
