Shakespeare Live is an experienced amateur theatre company producing Shakespeare plays for charity.

Founded in 1989, Shakespeare Live is an amateur theatre group whose purpose is to raise money for charity by putting on high quality performances of plays from the Shakespearean era. We are group of motivated individuals who adore the various challenges that come with staging an outdoor Shakespeare in the Summer.

Our amazing Hamlet, played by Jez Fowlds 🥰

This years summer show has ended and we'll be dismantling the stand, stage and set this morning.

What wonderful audiences we have had all week with (mostly) amazing weather. We would love to hear from you if you came to see us.

We hope to see you in the autumn for Shakespeare's Green Eyed Monster, our touring show and next year for As You Like It 🎭
