5th September-POSTPONED
We are very sorry to announce that we will have to postpone the gig on the 5th September featuring Danny Bryant and the Josie Field Duo.

Danny is very sorry to cancel and we send Danny our best wishes. We will sort out another date in 2027 and tickets will be refunded in due course.

We also wish to thank you all for your support by buying tickets early for this gig, it is always appreciated.

Is this of interest to our local crowd?

Sedgefield Cricket Club is launching a new monthly business networking event aimed at bringing together businesses from Sedgefield and the surrounding area.

Business on the Boundary will launch on Friday 25th September, with the first meeting completely free to attend.

The idea is simple, to create a relaxed, friendly environment where local business owners and professionals can meet, build relationships, share opportunities and ultimately do more business with one another.

The morning will begin at 9am with informal networking over breakfast, tea and coffee. This will be followed by introductions, giving everyone the opportunity to explain who they are, what they do and, importantly, who they would like to do business with.

Each monthly meeting will also feature a local business presentation before concluding with a short update from Sedgefield Cricket Club and further time for networking and one-to-one conversations.

The initiative forms part of the club’s plans to develop stronger relationships with the local business community while creating new opportunities to support the long-term growth of Sedgefield Cricket Club.

Local businesses will also have the opportunity to become the Featured Business at a future meeting, giving them dedicated time to present their business as well as display banners and distribute promotional material.

Sedgefield Cricket Club would love to welcome businesses of every size and sector whether you’re a sole trader, local independent business or part of a larger organisation.

Come along, meet other local businesses and help us build something that benefits both the local business community and Sedgefield Cricket Club.

South African-born singer-songwriter Josie Field, a nine-time SAMA nominee and former BBC Introducing Artist of the Week, alongside lead guitarist Chris form a magnetic duo already making waves.

With Field’s textured, blues-infused voice and powerful songwriting framed by Chris’s sensitive, expressive guitar lines, their sound feels both intimate and expansive - soulful folk woven with bluesy grit and country edge.
