TUESDAY AT THE FESTIVAL

We look forward to welcoming young musicians from the UK's largest specialist music school back to Sedbergh for a lunchtime concert.

In the evening, in ST ANDREW'S CHURCH (please note the change of venue since the brochure was printed), Roderick Williams & Susie Allan will grace the stage. Read all about it below, and we really hope that you won't want to miss the opportunity to come to a concert like this in our town!

MONDAY AT THE FESTIVAL

Christopher Steele (Tenor) and Peter Noke (Piano) have both worked at Sedbergh School for many years and will be familiar to some through previous festival appearances or Sedbergh Choral Society concerts.

In the evening, we welcome the B!M Trio to St Andrew's. B!M, a former pupil at Sedbergh School, has forged a very successful career, including on the Manchester Jazz Scene, and you will not want to miss this gig!

REMINDER - tonight's concert starts at the earlier time of 7pm.

Our talented local young musicians, a sensational steel band, and one of the world's best improvisers all coming up tomorrow!

WHO IS HARRY THE PIANO?

Harry the Piano is one of Britain's most celebrated improvising pianists. A former resident pianist on The Big Breakfast and a regular performer on BBC radio and television, he is renowned for his astonishing ability to transform any tune into any style on the spot—from Michael Jackson as Mozart to film themes as jazz standards. His performances blend classical virtuosity, cabaret humour and audience participation into an energetic and unpredictable musical experience.

FRIDAY AT THE FESTIVAL
A trio of events to bring you on Friday, with local talent again at the heart of proceedings.

Nicholas Hurndall-Smith (Tenor) & Jen Hartley (Piano) present songs about birds!

The town band once again show us that Friday night is music night - note the slightly earlier start of 7pm, which allows us to then get to the Thornely Studio for a gig by Evie Plumb.

Evie has performed at a couple of our establishments in town, and one of those - the Thirsty Rambler - will be on the road and running the bar for this 'late night' gig.
