Good luck to everyone running The Start Fitness Blaydon Race later today, have an amazing time runnin' alang the Scotswood Road! 🏃🏃‍♀️

Next month we have a fantastic show coming to the Arts Centre based on William Irving's masterpiece ‘Blaydon Races’. It’s full of famous characters from Geordie folklore – Cushy Butterfield, Coffee Johnny, Nanny the Mazer and many more. This show tells their stories, and the tale of the Blaydon Races of 1862 through tales, brilliant projected visuals and live acoustic music. Original and traditional songs mean that the audience can join in; with a night of fun, music and tall tales!
