Seahaven Dance Classes are in Cecchetti ballet, ISTD modern, jazz and tap. Pre-school - adult. Pupils prepared for examinations, competitions and shows. Find out more about us

Seahaven Dance School was established in 1995 and runs classes in Cecchetti Ballet, ISTD Modern, Jazz and Tap for anyone aged 3 and above. Pupils can work towards exams, competitions and shows or dance purely as a recreational activity. We are the only school in the Seaford and Newhaven area to teach the renowned Cecchetti Method of Ballet. The method encourages strong dancing with a good sense of musicality. It produces dancers with the ability to adapt well to other dance genres.

Every Seahaven Dance show gives us the opportunity to raise money for a charity or local organisation, and we’d love your help choosing who to support with this year’s show!

Over the years, our shows have raised thousands of pounds for some amazing causes, from local children’s charities and support groups to national organisations.

Do you know of a local charity or organisation that does fantastic work in our community and could benefit from our support?

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our wonderful Cecchetti Ballet students! 🩰💙

These results are a reflection of the hard work, commitment and determination shown by every student throughout the year. We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you!

Now it’s time to celebrate before we turn our focus to show term! 🌟

What a fantastic day of Cecchetti Ballet exams! ✨🩰 Everyone danced with such confidence and performed beautifully, from the first exams ever for our 6 year olds to Bella taking her Intermediate exam before she leaves to dance at 𝙇𝙊𝙉𝘿𝙊𝙉 𝙎𝙏𝙐𝘿𝙄𝙊 𝘾𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙍𝙀 . A huge congratulations to Abby, Daisy & Halle who represented us so beautifully at the Choreographic Competition this weekend ✨

The girls performed their own choreography in the Middle Group/Trio section and achieved an incredible runners up place against such talented competition. 🥈 As if that wasn’t enough, they were also awarded the Belinda Payne Cup 🏆 Abby and Halle also performed a beautiful duet together.

We are beyond proud of their creativity, commitment and hard work throughout the whole process using their own time to create and rehearse their wonderful pieces!

New term: we are back today!! We hope you all had a fantastic Easter break and are feeling refreshed. We’re looking forward to seeing you all this week and welcoming lots of new faces too. ✨

Modern & Tap exam results are back, and we’re thrilled to share that we achieved a 100% pass rate yet again, absolutely brilliant results! Certificates will be handed out in class. ✔️

Please double and triple check the timetable, as there have been quite a few tweaks. Invoices have been sent out, so please check your emails for those. 📧

We’re looking forward to a busy and exciting term with the Choreographic Competition and Cecchetti Ballet exams coming up. Let’s make it a fantastic term! 🩰
