I don't know how many times I have started this post and stopped and turned off my phone. 😪
How do you tell the world about Pat White and what a huge loss we are feeling without her.
Pat was not only our treasurer but alongside Gary and myself (Luella) the heart and sole of The Base.
The lady that held onto the purse strings as she would say, but her love for music and helping the youngsters she was our cherry on the cake of our organisation.
Her love, knowledge, passion, drive and evergrowing busy schedule was what bought her into so many people's lives. Alongside Peter White their super powers reached far and wide.
Pat, I just want to personally tell you that you kept me going through so many dark times. The endless voiceclips I have from you telling me to slow down, put my feet up and have a large glass of wine,
So to you my dear friend you have hung up your super hero cape and you can now put your feet up with that large glass of wine and watch all those you helped, loved, guided and treasured hold your memory dear and we will never forget you. 💔

We would like to tell you about one of our voluntary members of The Base committee.
Her name was Debbie Ward, she loved and supported our dreams of recycling the music at The Base, helping the youth of Seaford and putting on free live events for the people of Seaford.
Debbie sadly passed away October 2024. The Base would like you to know that Debbie did so much for Seaford without asking for anything in return.
She will live on in our hearts.
We will be honouring in a tribute to Debbie at this year's Seaford Motorfest
Sunday 22nd June 11am-5pm.
Look out for more details nearer the date.

Had a nice day doing some summer holiday drum lessons at The Base, a local rehearsal studio I’m fortunate to be able to make use of. Fortunately it wasn’t as crazy hot in there as it was outside! 🥵
