Illustration Workshop

We are coming to the end of the journey of the Illustration Worhshops that have been running in the last few weeks. We have discovered young artists with amazing talents along the way.

Don't miss out on the workshop next Wednesday 20 May from 13.00 - 14.45 exploring the theme of 'Too Many Hats!'

We will be experimenting with simple drawing exercises and introduce the character Billie Stormer - exploring the initial pencils concepts, to thumbnail storyboards and compositions of scenes.

For mental health awareness week, I like to re-upload this artwork I made in 2023. It is to remind myself how far I have come and nothing to be ashamed of and that I can't do everything or please everyone.

It is the first artwork after my years of hiatus from severe depression - from this piece alone, it had inspired me to go on to do many great things. The title of this piece is called 'Too Many Hats' which some of my followers will know that it then evolved into 'Billie Stormer Wears Too Many Hats'.

I still have relapses every now and then from the ongoing challenges that affected my physical and mental health. I need to remind myself that I need some holiday time in the summer.

Thank you to my counsellor and friends who have and continued to support me on my journey.

I am currently awaiting some news which will have a positive development in my career so fingers crossed.
