Have you found 'Berry Brave' the fostering and adoption bear during the Scunthorpe bear hunt?

We found him at Imaginarium 1876. If you want to see him, you better hurry before the summer ends.

I am going to miss this bear cub. It was a fun project to work on.

Feeling super proud with Yen Ip and Laurissa Reynolds from North Lincolnshire Council that Berry Brave, the Fostering Friendly bear cub that we co-created with the foster children of North Lincolnshire is famous!!! He's the one on the right for anyone who hasn't had chance to go on the North Lincolnshire bear hunt yet! There are 18 bears to discover across Scunthorpe, and they are all amazing!

Do you want to learn how to draw caricatures for your event or group meet-up?

The most recent 'Sip and Draw' workshop that I was hired for was with North East Lincolnshire Community Educational Psychology Team. It was a success. I am hoping to do more similar workshops in other cities starting with Leeds as I will be moving there in September.

These are my dates availability now but there will be more updated dates to reveal for the rest of Autumn during September.

But there are flexibility if you want to hire me for other UK based towns and cities - please do not hesitate to get in touch.

I had a great time on Saturday having a meal with some of my friends for a belated birthday celebration and just catching up with them before moving to uni. It was a great mix of old and new friends that I have met along my creative journey.

Thank you for coming. After an intense couple of weeks of hard work without stopping especially working outside during the heat wave, it was nice just to chill and relax with good company.

I forgot to take photos of the evening but I did draw some of them in the past so this will suffice for this post haha.

I finally got my L2 certificate for Understanding Mental Health in Early Years course I did with North Lincolnshire Adult Education & Community Learning. I did this course last year while working in my self-employment business, volunteer work and other important commitments. It was very difficult to complete because of my learning difficulties, some personal challenges and minor relapses to my mental health. I got there in the end as I had the right people supporting and helping me and I couldn't thank them enough.

This course was very interesting as it had helped me to improve my methods and philosophy when it comes to running creative drawing workshops for children.

After a few courses with Adult Education and from my own professional work, it gave me the confidence to apply for the MA Illustration course a few months ago. I start in September and I can't wait.

Photos from yesterday's session at Centre4 in Grimsby. It was North East Lincolnshire Community Educational Psychology team day and I enjoyed meeting the lovely people who was part of that team. I was invited to run a caricature drawing workshop as part of their meeting day and everyone had so much fun. There were many laughter and positivity and I am happy to be part of that.

As well as teaching them the techniques of drawing caricatures, they also got a little insight into my experience and journey as an Artist/Illustrator.

We were having fun today displaying artwork that I have drawn of the characters from the book 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'. They were first seen at the launch on Saturday 11th July in Church Square and you can see them again now.

These artwork were added today at The Foundry Shopping Centre to add to the collection to the Scunthorpe Bear Hunt Trail this summer.

It was fun creating these characters as I took a break from my usual style and adapted to the artist style from the book for this project.
