Rolling with Daddy G (Massive Attack) and Queen B as the Bristol Hi-Fi, Mr Benn has been bubbling away in Bristol for the last few decades as a DJ and in-demand producer. With tunes and remixes of artists such as Cutty Ranks, Ragga Twins, Eva Lazarus, Tenor Fly and Aswad under his belt, his productions have niced up many a session.
NICE UP!‘s very own Shepdog is well known for his dancefloor destroying mashups of artists including Damien Marley, Dead. Prez, Busta Rhymes, The Gossip, Deee-Lite and many more and is a favourite with BBC 6Music DJs such as Steve Lamaqc and Don Letts (who he warmed up for at Social earlier in the year).
Together they have played at festivals such as Boomtown, Glastonbury, Beatherder, Bestival, The Big Chill, Womad and Outlook – always bringing the good vibes wherever they go!
