Once again to the rescue for a couple more cards for my husband and his colleagues 🫣

Luckily this time there was no heatwave and I had these in my stockpile already made up so I could just hand them over for him to fill in and hand to the recipients! It can help having those periods where I make a bunch of cards (even if they do sit in storage for a while until they are truly needed!)

I think I’m going to start handing him an order sheet and start adding stipulations or extra charges for last minute cards 🤔😂

The other day, my husband dropped it on me last minute that he needed a leaving card for a colleague 🤦🏻‍♀️

After a little initial frustration as to why he didn’t say something sooner (especially in the midst of a heatwave) I remembered I had recently bought the latest pun collection from and found the perfect topper and sentiment in there (which was handy as my brain wasn’t functioning well with the heat and my glasses kept sliding down my nose)

I think it came together quite well for a last minute make whilst not functioning well 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

So the past few days in the UK we’ve had a mini heatwave, which hasn’t been the easiest to deal with. I’ve wanted to do something creative but have struggled to focus, so a lot of my usual crafts were ruled out purely for that fact, including my standard colouring books (I could barely decide what to eat, let alone picking out multiple colours that blend together for a colouring book page!)

However, the Disney mystery colouring books, while they require their own levels of concentration, the colours are already picked out. I just need to sit with my pen swatches and find the closest matches with what I have available. It’s let me be creative without as much brain power as a regular project, and the added bonus of it being Disney makes it that little more enjoyable 😁

So I’ve recently gotten back into my colouring book groove, but after a few pages of my mystery Disney book (and awaiting an order of pens to help with that book) I figured I would mix it up a little and pulled one of my books from my stash. A carnival koala from Cozy Fashion seemed the best choice 😁

I knew I wanted to go colourful with this one, but decided to keep to a warm colour palette instead of just going rainbow (which could’ve worked too) even added a few sparkly details which I kind of managed to capture too (which can be a challenge in itself)

I realised I hadn’t done anything creative in the past couple of weeks after my last craft fair, and having been recently caught up organising my Lorcana collection, my Disney colouring book was the perfect thing to pick and and dive into 😁

Nothing like mixing my two loves, creativity and Disney 🥰

So I recently shared the stamped panel for this project before I had added any colour…the repetition was worth it in the end for this framed piece 😊

I love a good pun, and this one just had to be done (Fabs are an ice lolly in the UK and my colour inspiration for this project) 😁

This alongside some other projects I haven’t quite finished yet will be available at the craft fair on Friday 😊

Some of my ideas seem great at the time, until I’m stuck with the repetitive (and slightly tedious) task of colouring multiple ice lollies on a Saturday evening 🫣

The end result should be worth it though 😁🤞🏻
