We thought we ought to give an update on the progress of improving the field.

The whole area has been rotavated, this resulted in exposing a whole series of huge mole trails/holes which have now collapsed. The area was then seeded, and then rolled on Monday to flatten out. The dry weather has been good for that stage as it avoids compressing the soil, we now need some rain, so a rain dance or two for rain overnight would be good, this will allow the seeds to grow.

The moles have moved for now so we will keep an eye on them.
