SUGGESTIONS NEEDED!

The keen eyed amongst you might notice a few differences from my last share but there is more to add. There is a road sign there which I am planning to put 3 locations on heading "south".

The first one I am using a placename, not too far away with one letter different to a word in the song that inspired this mural. Can you guess what it is?

The last one is the "final destination" and is 666 miles away!

But this is where I need HELP! I need one in the middle, somewhere South of here that might be on the Highway to....

ALSO let me know your favourite nocturnal creatures to hide in the darkness either side of the road.
