βœ¨πŸš— Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Junior is Coming to Hatton! πŸš—βœ¨

We are so excited to announce that our Junior and Musical Theatre students will be performing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Junior!

To give our students a real insight into the performing arts industry, we held auditions as professionally as possible. Students learned how to prepare, perform under pressure, and present themselves with confidence – all valuable skills for the future.

We were incredibly proud of everyone who auditioned. The talent, commitment, enthusiasm, and bravery shown by all our students was fantastic to see. Watching them step out of their comfort zones and truly shine reminded us why we love what we do.

A huge well done to everyone who took part. Whether you were cast in a leading role, part of the ensemble, or submitted a video audition, you should all be proud of yourselves. 🌟

Rehearsals will soon be underway, and we cannot wait to bring this magical story to life on stage!

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Kirsten, who is currently studying on our BTEC Performing Arts Practice course at Hatton College, has been offered a place on the Musical Theatre Degree course at Expressions Academy of Performing Arts (EPA) in Mansfield following a successful audition! 🌟

At Hatton, we firmly believe that every student is unique. We work closely with our students to help them audition for training providers that suit their personality, ambitions and individual journey, ensuring they find the place where they can truly flourish.

Kirsten has been part of the Hatton family through both Hatton Performing Arts and Hatton College, and it has been wonderful to watch her grow in confidence, skill and maturity as a performer. Her dedication, hard work and commitment have been rewarded with this fantastic opportunity.

We are incredibly proud of everything she has achieved so far and cannot wait to see what the future holds for her. We know she will make the most of every opportunity and continue to grow into an outstanding performer.

Another fantastic class with the incredible Chris Clark this week!

Chris's unique style, creativity and attention to detail make every class a real experience, and our Junior and Intermediate students absolutely lapped it up. For many, this style is something completely different from what they are used to, but they embraced the challenge from the very first count.

In just one hour, the students learnt a full routine, taking on Chris's movement quality, musicality and performance style with enthusiasm and determination. We love seeing our dancers step outside their comfort zones and explore new ways of moving, and this class did exactly that.

Most importantly, the students had a brilliant time. The energy in the room was fantastic, and it was wonderful to see them fully engaged, working hard, asking questions and enjoying every minute of the process.

We are incredibly lucky that Chris continues to share his knowledge and creativity with our students, bringing industry-relevant training and inspiring the next generation of performers.

This Tuesday, we were thrilled to welcome back the fabulous Chris Clark for a series of open classes at Hatton Performing Arts.

Chris has such a unique style and creative flair, and what makes his teaching so special is his incredible attention to detail. He challenges students to think beyond the choreography, encouraging them to focus on performance quality, musicality and the finer details that make a piece truly come alive.

Our students absolutely love his style and the energy he brings to every class. His work is always fresh, inspiring and relevant to today's industry, giving our dancers a real insight into the standards and expectations of the professional world.

We were especially proud of our Senior students, who learnt and performed this routine in just one lesson. Their commitment, focus and willingness to embrace Chris's choreography were fantastic to see, and they should all be incredibly proud of what they achieved.

We are so lucky that Chris continues to visit Hatton and share his knowledge, creativity and experience with our students. He has a genuine passion for nurturing young performers and helping them grow, and we always learn so much from him.

Just look at the smiles in this photo! Nathaniel always has the best time teaching, and his energy is completely infectious.

For many of our Junior students, Hip Hop is a relatively new style, but they embraced the challenge, took everything in their stride and threw themselves into every moment of the class. From the first step to the final performance, they worked hard, listened carefully and, most importantly, enjoyed every second.

At Hatton Performing Arts, we believe learning should be exciting, inspiring and fun. Nathaniel's classes are a perfect example of thatβ€”encouraging students to develop new skills, step outside their comfort zones and discover different styles, all while remembering the joy that comes from dancing.

Our 11–13 year olds had an amazing time with Nathaniel in his one-hour Hip Hop workshop this weekend!

What impressed us most was seeing how quickly the students were able to pick up the choreography and then perform it with confidence, style and performance quality. In just one hour, they learnt a full routine and brought so much energy and personality to it.

Nathaniel has a fantastic way of teaching that goes beyond simply learning steps. He encourages students to understand the style, performance and groove behind the movement, helping them grow as dancers and performers.

Most importantly, the students absolutely loved every minute of the class! The smiles, enthusiasm and determination in the room were wonderful to see, and they should all be incredibly proud of what they achieved in such a short space of time.

A huge thank you to Nathaniel for sharing his knowledge, passion and inspiration with our students. We can't wait to welcome him back to Hatton Performing Arts soon! ❀️πŸ”₯

Today we would like to wish a huge good luck to Caitlin as she embarks on an exciting new adventure this summer with Camp America! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έβœ¨

Caitlin joined Hatton Performing Arts and Hatton College in September 2023 and graduated in 2025. During her time with us, she has worked tirelessly, embraced every challenge, and grown into a confident, versatile performer and teacher.

Whilst Commercial/Hip Hop has always been her first love, Caitlin has fully embraced all the disciplines needed to succeed in the performing arts industry, developing her skills across dance, performance, and teaching. Her journey has been one of dedication, resilience, and personal growth, and it has been a pleasure to watch her confidence flourish.

Caitlin is also a valued member of our teaching faculty, leading our Wednesday Hip Hop classes as well as teaching Disco, Show Work, and Contemporary. Her enthusiasm, patience, and passion for teaching have made a real impact on so many of our students. We know they are all going to miss her over the summer!

This week, Caitlin begins an incredible three-month adventure as a Dance Leader/Captain with Camp America. We know her love for teaching, positive attitude, and infectious energy will make this an unforgettable experience for all the young people she works with.

Caitlin, we are so proud of everything you have achieved and all that you continue to accomplish. Enjoy every moment, make lifelong memories, embrace every opportunity, and most importantly, have the best summer ever! πŸ‘πŸ‘

This week we welcomed the amazing Nathaniel Jones back to Hatton Performing Arts to deliver his incredible Hip Hop workshops, and what an afternoon it was!

With three classes running across our Juniors, Intermediates, and Seniors, every student had the opportunity to experience Nathaniel's unique style, energy, and passion for teaching.

What makes Nathaniel's classes so special is that he doesn't just teach choreography. He takes the time to develop students as performers, helping them understand musicality, groove, style, performance quality, and confidence. His passion for nurturing young dancers shines through in every class.

A special mention has to go to our Seniors, who learnt this routine in just 1 hour and 15 minutes! The style, groove, and movement quality were completely new to some of the students, but watching them challenge themselves, step outside their comfort zones, and fully commit to the process made me incredibly proud. Seeing dancers push themselves, trust the training, and embrace something unfamiliar is exactly what performing arts is all about.

Today is the start of an exciting new chapter for Ruby as she begins rehearsals for her very first professional contract! ❀️

Ruby has been part of the Hatton family since she was just 2 years old, growing from a tiny dancer into a talented performer and valued member of our teaching team. Throughout her journey at Hatton Performing Arts and later at Hatton College, we have watched her confidence, skills, and passion flourish.

Ruby has always approached every opportunity with dedication, enthusiasm, and a huge smile, inspiring so many younger students along the way. Seeing her take this next step into the professional industry makes us incredibly proud.

As she starts rehearsals before joining the Arvia, we know she is going to have an amazing adventure filled with new experiences, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime.
