As Small Business Week draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all our customers, suppliers, colleagues, friends and family who have supported Spectrum over the years.

Running a small business is never a solo effort. Every order, recommendation, conversation and word of encouragement helps us continue doing what we love.

Today's photo is particularly special. Standing proudly at the front of our trade counter is my dad. At 81, he is now well and truly retired, but as I reflect on our journey, I'm especially grateful for the love, support, guidance and hard work he has given to the business over the last 30+ years.

Spectrum wouldn't be where it is today without him. His values, work ethic and belief in what we were building helped lay the foundations for everything that followed.

Love you, Dad. Thank you for everything.

And to everyone who continues to support our family business, thank you. We genuinely appreciate every one of you.

Hello, this is me sporting the Spectrum red nosed reindeer look! Ive been blowing my nose like its trying to set a world record this week!

It’s that time of year… coughs, sneezes, and “I’m fine” foghorns everywhere.

Pass the parcel? More like pass the cold and flu.

Remember the pandemic? Get washing your hands like your life depends on it, because somebodies might!

Use proper sanitisers with the relevant EN numbers that prove efficacy, and keep your family, colleagues and customers safe - by stocking up on all your germ busting supplies!
