A quirky wedding on Saturday night heading back to Bolton Abbey. Holly and Nick had a Lord of the Rings theme, which suited the venue perfectly. We used a black set up and utilised an added screen to show a slideshow. The cake cutting and first dance to the theme music and had moonlighting added to the venue.

Music was a mix of family requests, heavy rock and dance classics. A real great mix.

When space is an issue... I've now got a much more compact setup available Introducing the new dj console booth all built in. Note also the clamp hack to making sure my laptop stays put

For my usual setups this booth will feature alongside a couple of podiums with my moving heads on, and the same stands I use now for the lights projecting onto the dancefloor.

I'm hoping to introduce the new larger set up soon.

I finished off the week over at Reighton Sands where I dj'd a marquee wedding on the families camping land.

It was a lovely wedding celebration for Leeanne and Sam. Many years together running the farm and now tied the knot. There was a few karaoke songs, but the vibe of the night was to bring lots of fun, party tunes with all the party dances, cheesy pop and dance and just a sugar coating of country.

A really fun evening for everyone.

Friday I returned to the Stone Trough to celebrate with Aimee and Archie. We had a mixed bag of music to please everyone with some golden oldies early on leaving into a more indie vibe as the night progressed.

They used my screen for a slideshow that was launched through the first dance, which was a really nice touch.

Congrats to Aimee and Archie who had a great evening.
