Charlotte Hill - Arts, Design, Crafts I am an artist and designer-maker with experience in drawing, painting, textile crafts, fashion and graphic design, running workshops and live art.

I am an artist and designer-maker with experience running mixed art, craft and fashion workshops in schools and for parties and events. If you like my work I would love to hear from you. I am available for commissions and as a workshop leader. I have worked in a wide range of arts and crafts through my professional work and personal projects including painting and drawing, paper and textile crafts

, fashion clothing and accessory making, customisation and simple jewellery making. I produce artwork using drawing, painting, new media and photography in a range of styles and I have experience with most mediums including pastel and charcoal, watercolour, acrylics and oil paints. My background is in the fashion industry and I also have experience in graphic design. I have strong sewing skills and have designed and made clothing, accessories, hats and headpieces, soft furnishings and decorative textiles such as bunting. I enjoy felt making and using fabric painting, printing, applique, embroidery and other techniques to embellish items. I am also experienced in paper crafts including paper making and hand made cards and enjoy collage, decoupage and scrap-booking.

5th July, 2pm - Watercolour Landscape Painting - create a watercolour painting.

You will learn watercolour painting techniques and create an image of Peasholm Park - Scarborough. An ideal art class as an introduction to watercolour painting for beginners or artists wanting to brush up on some skills.

Class Schedule

5th July -
11am - Drawing Nature - landscape drawing techniques
2pm - Watercolour Landscape Painting - create a watercolour painting.

12th July -
11am - Sketching Wildlife - including. using the real life wildlife for reference.
2pm - Miniature Landscape painting - create a miniature masterpiece, acrylic painting.

19th July -
11am - Portrait Drawing - draw from a model.
2pm - Abstract Art - including collage and acrylic painting.

26th July -
11am - Textiles Art - including applique, embroidery & felting.
2pm - Mixed Media Natural Assemblage - using natural and found objects, printing & collage.

Please Note: All our adult classes are usually suitable for age 16 and up. Younger participants may be able to attend with an accompanying adult.
